| Ryotaro Isozaki was born in 1983 in Ishikawa, Japan and was raised in Osaka. Though his father was a business man, he went on to study oriental philosophy at college. It was only after he graduated that he first encountered Shumei Natural Agriculture farming. He began farming full time in 2014 and now grows tea, rice, and vegetables using the Natural Agriculture method. In 2016 he founded Yusando Inc. which focuses on creating the best Natural Agriculture tea. Yusando Inc. became the first tea company in Japan to be certified to use the Natural Agriculture method. This is the only certification which ensures that fertilizers and pesticides are not used at any stage in the process. |
